Prescott National Forest Visioning Working with diverse community leaders, through a participatory process, to develop a set of community landscape visions in the vicinity of the Prescott National Forest. U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution.  (2007-present - Central/Northern AZ)

Forest Plan Revision Collaboration, Tonto National Forest.   Providing internal assessment, process design, capacity building, meeting facilitation, evaluation and report writing support for stakeholder involvement in the revision of the Land and Resource Management Plan. (2007-present - Central AZ)

Forest Plan Revision Collaboration, Kaibab and Coconino National Forests. Provided process design, capacity building, meeting facilitation, evaluation and report writing support for stakeholder involvement in the revision of the Land and Resource Management Plan for each forest.  Also co-facilitated the design of an outreach and involvement process for northern Arizona tribes. (2006-2008 - Northern AZ)

Grand Canyon Overflight Noise. Conducted stakeholder assessment and process design, and currently, meeting facilitation and documentation, of a multi-stakeholder working group seeking solutions to aviation noise conflicts in Grand Canyon National Park as a member of the Lucy Moore Associates facilitation team. Convened by National Park Service and Federal Aviation Administration. (2004-present - Grand Canyon, AZ)

Mt. Lemmon Stakeholder Collaboration Project. Provided assessment, process design, workshop facilitation and documentation support for a multi-stakeholder dialogue to stimulate collaborative forest and watershed management in the post-fire Mt. Lemmon region. Convened by Trees for Mount Lemmon. (2005 - Tucson, AZ)

Greater Flagstaff Forest Partnership and Coconino National Forest.  Facilitated internal discussions as part of the GFFP’s strategic planning process. (2005- Flagstaff, AZ)

Recreational Shooting in the Tucson Basin. Provided facilitation services for public dialogue about contentious recreational shooting issues on public lands. Convened by the Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, and Arizona Game and Fish through the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution. (2004 - Tucson, AZ)

Collaborative Forest Plan Revision, Green Mountain-Finger Lakes National Forest. USDA Forest Service. Organized and facilitated public involvement for the revision of the Forest Plan for the Finger Lakes National Forest, including the design of public involvement processes, facilitation of Public Planning Group meetings and assisting with the analysis and documentation of public comment. (1998-2001 - Finger Lakes region, New York)

Community Development

Pima County Manufactured and Affordable Housing Strategy Committee  Design and facilitate a multi-stakeholder committee tasked with analyzing and developing consensus recommendations on affordable housing strategies and a possible zoning code text amendment specific to manufactured housing. (2007-present - Tucson, AZ)

Military Community Compatibility Committee.  US Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution.  Conducted facilitation, mediation, process design, and documentation for this multi-stakeholder committee which analyzed issues, held public forums, deliberated possible solutions, and generated a set of consensus recommendations for reducing military overflight noise without negatively impacting the viability of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. (2005-2006 - Tucson, AZ)

Schuyler County Comprehensive Planning. Co-designed and facilitated public involvement phase of a county-wide planning process, incorporating input from individual municipalities and a broad cross-section of county residents and agencies. Convened by the Schuyler County Planning Commission. (2000 - Schuyler County, NY)

Community Mediation. Provided volunteer mediation and facilitation services for interpersonal and multi-party community and environmental disputes through the Community Dispute Resolution Center. (1994-2001 - Tompkins County, NY)

Wildlife and Ecosystem  

Spine of the Continent Strategic Planning. Provided meeting design, facilitation and documentation support for an inter-organizational strategic planning workshop to enhance wildlife linkages along a north-south corridor from northern Mexico to Canada. Convened by the Wildlands Project (2005 - Payson, AZ)

Border Ecology Symposia. Conducted meeting design, facilitation and documentation for workshops on ecological issues related to US-Mexico border security. (2005, 2007 - Tucson, AZ)
