Broad-Scale Monitoring. NAU Ecological Restoration Institute and USFS Regions 2 and 3. Provided design and facilitation support for statewide workshops in AZ, NM, CO and WY as part of the development of a broader-scale monitoring strategy required by the 2012 Planning Rule.
RAC Grazing Subcommittee. Facilitated this multi-interest subcommittee, of the BLM Arizona Resource Advisory Committee, tasked with identifying/expanding on issues and developing an alternative in the draft Environmental Assessment for three BLM grazing allotments in the Kingman area (Western AZ).
Coordinated Resource Management Planning. BLM Agua Fria National Monument, Tonto National Forest and Arizona Game and Fish Department. Conducted assessment, provided process design assistance, and currently facilitating the collaborative development of a multi-resource Coordinated Resource Management Plan on two adjacent grazing allotments in the Agua Fria watershed (Central AZ). Gila Watershed Restoration. Gila Watershed Partnership. Provided collaboration design and facilitation support to watershed assessment and riparian restoration effort, as part of the Walton Family Foundation Freshwater Initiative (Southeast AZ).
BLM Madrean Archipelago Rapid Ecoregional Assessment (REA). Provided facilitation and process support to the Madrean REA process with BLM, NatureServe and program partners, including meeting planning, organization, and facilitation, development of charters and other core documents, and providing process support throughout the ecoregional assessment (Southeast AZ / Southwest NM).
San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area. BLM. Provided assessment, process design and facilitation support to the Resource Management Plan public engagement process. (Southeast AZ)
Connecting the Environment to Arizona Water Planning. University of Arizona Water Resources Research Center. Provided process design coaching support to the project leaders (AZ).
Coronado National Forest Leadership Team. Facilitated bi-monthly two-day meetings of the Forest Leadership Team for five years (Southeast AZ).
Sky Islands Children’s Forest, Coronado National Forest. USFS Integrated Resources Enterprise Team. Co-facilitated collaborative strategic planning process for youth engagement in the Coronado National Forest and served on the SICF Steering Committee (Southeast AZ).
Forest Plan Revision Collaboration, Tonto National Forest. Provided internal assessment, process design, capacity building, meeting facilitation, evaluation and report writing support for stakeholder involvement in the revision of the Land and Resource Management Plan. (2007, Central AZ)
Forest Plan Revision Collaboration, Kaibab and Coconino National Forests. Provided process design, capacity building, meeting facilitation, evaluation and report writing support for stakeholder involvement in the revision of the Land and Resource Management Plan for each forest. Grand Canyon Overflight Noise. Conducted stakeholder assessment and process design, and currently, meeting facilitation and documentation, of a multi-stakeholder working group seeking solutions to aviation noise conflicts in Grand Canyon National Park as a member of the Lucy Moore Associates facilitation team. Mt. Lemmon Stakeholder Collaboration Project. Provided assessment, process design, workshop facilitation and documentation support for a multi-stakeholder dialogue to stimulate collaborative forest and watershed management in the post-fire Mt. Recreational Shooting in the Tucson Basin. Provided facilitation services for public dialogue about contentious recreational shooting issues on public lands. Imagine Greater Tucson. Provided public engagement design and facilitation support, overall process design and facilitation, and scenario planning/mapping support for this highly collaborative regional visioning effort. (2009-2011, Tucson, AZ)
Pima County Manufactured and Affordable Housing Strategy Committee. Design and facilitate a multi-stakeholder committee tasked with analyzing and developing consensus recommendations on affordable housing strategies and a possible zoning code text amendment specific to manufactured housing. (2007-present, Tucson, AZ)
Military Community Compatibility Committee. US Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution. Conducted facilitation, mediation, process design, and documentation for this multi-stakeholder committee which analyzed issues, held public forums, deliberated possible solutions, and generated a set of consensus recommendations for reducing military overflight noise without negatively impacting the viability of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.
